Joint Opposition meets to decide on ‘no-confidence motion’

The Joint Opposition says collecting signatures for the proposed ‘no-confidence motion’ to be moved against Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe will resume today (Mar. 19).
When contacted MP Shehan Semasinghe said this week will be critical for the proposed motion.
He also said that the JO Parliamentary Group will meet at the Parliament tomorrow to take a decision on the proposed move.
He said former President Mahinda Rajapaksa will chair the meeting.
The upcoming provincial council election will also be discussed there.
